Ex-Shaw actor Ricky Hui died after long ailment
The Shaw fan community has to mourn another fine supporting actor, who worked in 22 Shaw productions like “The Flying Guillotine” and “Rivals of Kung Fu”, sadly passed away on November 8th, 2011. After leaving the studio, Ricky Hui (Chu Chuan Ying) enjoyed huge success as actor, screen writer, director, producer and had a brief stint as a singer.
After 2004, when he took his leave from the show business circles, Ricky Hui’s health deteriorated and on November 8th he died after a heart attack, having a history of heart conditions in the recent past.
He will be missed by all fans of Hong Kong cinema!
