Japan will see a Shaw DVD extravaganza!

After the current success of Shaw releases by Kadokawa Entertainment Inc. on the Japanese market the very first Japanese partner of Celestial Pictures starts all over again! Since the termination of their initial contract in Autumn 2006 the company Kingrecords has not released anything in terms of Shaw movies – until now. Around Christmas 2008 (a record five titles have been launched!) they started their third instalment of 25 titles which are aimed to battle Kadokawa’s current dominance in this niche.
Kingrecords is said to have acquired some of the most prominent titles of the vast Shaw library and the company will release DVDs in batches of 4 titles each month until May 2009.
